SISTER is back in NYC for International Women's Day!

An international collective of women & non-binary electronic music professionals and enthusiasts, SISTER provides a safe, collaborative and progressive virtual space for over 1,700 members. 
This is our 10th event, following parties in Berlin, Los Angeles, New York, and Monterrey, Mexico. All are welcome.

Adipop —
Adipop (NO) has her heart set on urban music. She plays everything between old, nostalgic rnb, the freshest new hip hop, the dirtiest dancehall and best afrobeats. The Oslo-born, New York-based DJ has been DJing for over four years and moving towards producing her own music and has played at many festivals and clubs in Norway. She works as a music producer in NRK P3, where she’s also has her own urban radio shows. Adipop has also organized gigs, radio shows and made guest mixes for London-based Radar Radio and NTS Radio.

Circe (SISTER, Ethereal Beatbox) —
Circe is minor goddess of magic, weaving deep, psychedelic, and emotive soundscapes. Half visual, half audio, she is the creative director of international-virtual collective SISTER and vinyl-only label Ethereal Beatbox. A longstanding fixture in the local nightlife scene and queer underground, she has produced, curated and promoted events for over ten years in NYC

Gooddroid (Loveless RecordsMateriaon.the.sly)—

Kelsey Pyro (The Blue Nile BK) —
Kelsey Pyro is a Brooklyn based music producer who combines her training in Cello, Jazz vocals, her love for acoustic guitar, and interest in Ambient R&B with spoken word poetry and rap. She released her EP “when im beautiful” in July 2017 and her re-imagining of Solange's “Cranes In The Sky” through The Future Gods in December 2017. Kelsey is also the co-founder and producer of The Blue Nile Live Music Jam Session in Crown Heights Brooklyn. 

Ma Sha (Kindergarten)—
From Moscow to Berlin to NYC, Ma Sha has been highly influenced by world music from all over the globe. She had an opportunity to be immersed in Soviet cosmic music, as well as groovy disco beats, and now her sets lean towards electronic tribal house.

Sick Din is an otherworldly vocal experience that you can dance or cry to. Sick Din is the solo pop music personae by the avant-garde musician and multi-media visual artist Bethany Dinsick. A homemade DIY pop princess: she art directs, edits, costumes, and performs in psychedelic music videos via YouTube. Her music is vocal driven which includes electronic samples created with her voice and live vocal manipulation.

We believe in the transformative power of nightlife and music to bring people together in unity and mutual respect. SISTER is a virtual, international and decentralized collective of over 1,700+ women and gender non-conforming electronic music professionals and enthusiasts across the globe who strive to make the industry a more equal place. Founded in 2015, the collective primarily takes the form of a private Facebook group, Soundcloud mix series, and events around the world.
