Come celebrate the one year anniversary of project space PARADICE PALASE!
Wednesday June 20th from 8pm-12am PARADICE PALASE is taking over SPR and bringing emerging artists and musicians together for one disco-tropigoth night only!
8:30 - Nick Demopoulos
9:00 - Jeremy Toussaint-Baptiste
9:30 - Bell's Roar
10:30 - BLT (DJ set)
Enveloping the venue will be a curated selection of works from (mostly) Brooklyn-based artists:
Dresscode: your best summery tropigoth looks (we always recommend glitter)
A raffle will be held to give away select gallery merchandise, only $1 for two tickets! Winners will be announced at 10:15 pm.
Tickets are only $10! Celebrate this milestone with us! 90% of ticket sales go to supporting the artists involved and to cover SPR overhead.
Thank you to all the artists for joining us, thanks bunches to Secret Project Robot for hosting us, and thanks in advance to all of you who come and celebrate with us!
Tickets can be purchased in advance at tinyurl.com/1yearinparadice . Some tickets will also be available at the door.
About PARADICE PALASE:
PARADICE PALASE is a project space in Brooklyn, NY that confronts the limitations of the art world by creating a self sustaining, community-minded and inclusive space. We are dedicated to furthering the development of artists and building a symbiotic network of patrons and creators. We create accessibility in the arts by offering affordable artwork, monthly programs, and membership benefits to our community.
Our mission is to:
Develop alternative funding methods for the arts
Grow our artist and patron networks to further visibility and accessibility
Build relationships between artists and the public at large
Founded in 2017 by Kat Ryals and Lauren Elise Hirshfield, who both previously sought outlets for their curatorial efforts, PARADICE PALASE is the love child of DIY project spaces and extremist fantasy.
